Iron ore is an important raw material for iron and steel production enterprises. Iron is gradually selected from natural ore (iron ore) by crushing, grinding, magnetic separation, flotation, gravity separation and other procedures. It is a mineral aggregate containing iron or iron compounds that can be economically used. Any ore containing iron that can be economically used is called iron ore. There are many kinds of iron ores, mainly magnetite (Fe₃O₄), hematite (Fe₂O₃) and siderite (FeCO₃) for iron making. There are two characteristics of China's iron ore resources: one is that there are many lean ores, the reserves of which account for 80% of the total; the other is that there are more complex ores with multiple elements. In addition, the ore bodies are complex; some of the lean ore deposits are hematite and the lower part is magnetite. In view of the existing characteristics of iron ore in China and the higher requirements for iron concentrate in the iron and steel industry, new challenges have been posed to the Chinese ore dressing workers. Therefore, China's metallurgical mine beneficiation technology has a deeper development requirements, followed by the further improvement of mineral processing equipment.
